Larissa De Jesús Negrón (B. Puerto Rico, 1994) is a Puerto Rico–born multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the psychological and emotional dimensions of the human experience. Through surreal, fluid landscapes and symbolic environments, she weaves imagination, memory, and introspection to create visual narratives that exist between reality and inner perception. Her practice is rooted in an ongoing inquiry into the subconscious, emotional complexity, and the ways personal and collective histories shape identity.

Working primarily with oil painting and mixed media, Larissa uses the female body, water, and dreamlike imagery to express vulnerability, desire, grief, rest, and transformation. Her work functions as a mirror for self-reflection, inviting viewers into intimate interior worlds that speak to both personal and universal emotional states.

After spending nine years living and working in New York, Larissa recently returned to Puerto Rico, a transition that has deeply influenced her current body of work. Her recent series explores the psychological realities of migration, displacement, and return, using surrealism to reflect the fluidity, contradiction, and emotional complexity embedded in these experiences.

Larissa has exhibited internationally, with nine national and international solo exhibitions, and has completed artist residencies in Mexico and Spain. Her work has been collected by institutions and private collectors, and she has collaborated with global brands including Zara, Champion, The Webster, and Johnson & Johnson. She currently lives and works in Puerto Rico.
